Bloomsbury Opera presents "Tahiti!" a double bill performance of Alannah-Marie Halay's new contemporary piece "Pacific Pleasures" and Leonard Bernstein's "Trouble in Tahiti". Premiered and performed March 2017. Directed by Jorge Balça and Conducted by Karin Hendrickson.
Toronto Concert Orchestra's touring production presented a multi-disciplinary program with First Nations and Métis themes (Indigenous cultures of Canada). Rebecca presented a new song cycle written by Métis composer Ian Cusson with texts by Métis poet Marilyn Dumont. The piece was directed by Michael Mori and conducted by Kerry Stratton.
Rebecca joins tick tock again to present their collaborative piece "A Certain Sense of Order", this time for the Tête à Tête Opera Festival. The performance took place August 10th and 11th at RADA Studios in London and was part of Tête à Tête's 10th anniversary celebration.
"A Certain Sense of Order" explores the work of American poet Anne Sexton through voice, movement, recorded and live sounds.
